Previously loaded species and your saved data are available from cache when you are offline, so you can check your checklist and sightings without a connection.

Get started in four steps
Choose UK, USA, Canada, or Mexico (and for the USA, your area) so the app shows the species checklist for where you are.
Scroll the species list, filter by group (birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians) or search by name. Tap a species to view details and add a sighting.
When you see an animal, add a sighting with optional date, location, and notes. Sign in to save it to your account and your personal checklist.
Open the Nearby tab to see a map of sightings shared by other users. Filter by distance and species to find wildlife near you.
